Chestnut
Chestnut is lighter and warmer in tone than walnut, with a pronounced open grain and a visible ring pattern. It is a timber that ages well: the color deepens toward honey over years of daylight rather than graying. On a minimal design it carries the whole piece, which is why it is specified here in preference to a more uniform wood.
Legs From the Same Timber
The legs are custom-made in solid wood matching the top. Cutting the base from the same stock means the grain and color run continuously from surface to floor, so the table reads as one object rather than a top set on a separate frame. Leg finishes in black, silver, gold or antiqued brass can be specified if you want the base to contrast instead.
Customization
Size, finish and wood species are all adjustable. If none of the listed sizes fits your room, give us the dimensions and the table is built to them.

Custom orders take approximately 5–7 weeks to complete. Delivery is free to all U.S. states, typically 2–5 business days after production finishes.
How much space do I need around the table?
Allow 36 inches between the table edge and the nearest wall or furniture so chairs can be pulled out and people can pass behind them.
Will the grain match the photographs?
The design and finish will. The grain is specific to the boards used for your table, so the pattern is individual to it.
Can I order a size that is not listed?
Yes. Fully custom dimensions are available; the leg positions are reviewed for the new span before production.
