A dining chair in solid walnut with a sculpted back, handcrafted to order. The back is the design: rather than a flat panel or a set of spindles, it is shaped to follow the curve of the spine, which is both what makes it comfortable through a long meal and what makes it considerably harder to build.
Finish Options
- Natural — showing the walnut grain at full strength
- Black — modern and graphic
- Coffee — a warm mid-tone
Other finishes are available to match an existing interior.
Solid Walnut Throughout
Handcrafted from premium solid walnut, with other species available on request. Each chair carries its own grain pattern, so a set will share a design and finish while no two chairs are visually identical — which is characteristic of solid timber and not a defect.
Why a Shaped Back Matters
A flat chair back puts pressure on the shoulder blades and leaves the lower spine unsupported, which is why most people start shifting after twenty minutes. Curving the back to follow the spine transfers the support lower and spreads it, which is the difference between a chair that looks good and one people are still comfortable in at the end of dinner.
Versatile Use
Dining rooms, offices, or as an occasional chair in a living space. The restrained silhouette works in both modern and classic interiors.
Production and Delivery
Each chair is handcrafted to order, with production taking approximately 30–45 days. If chairs are in stock they can ship immediately.
How many should I order?
Allow roughly 24 inches of table edge per chair. Send us your table dimensions and we can advise.
Can I order a custom color?
Yes. Beyond the three standard finishes, the chair can be finished in any color to match your interior.
Is another wood available?
Yes. Walnut is standard and other species can be specified.

🧼 Care & Use Guide for Epoxy and Wood Products
- Especially for pnes with clear epoxy, protect from direct sunlight
- Avoid chemical cleaners. Use a slightly damp cloth for regular cleaning. For fingerprints or stains, you can use glass cleaner or vinegar water. If food spills, gently wipe the area. Leave oily spots if they don’t come off easily — the wood will absorb the oil, and it won’t be damaged.
- To preserve the wood’s color, shine, and durability, apply natural wood oils regularly (2-3 years). They nourish and protect the surface.
- Extreme heat and moisture can damage both wood and epoxy. Never place hot items like teapots or pans directly on the surface — always use a heat-resistant mat.
- When moving or assembling large, heavy pieces, take your time and ask for help to avoid damage.
