A commissioned solid wood sculpture of an armored hero figure, produced in nine heights from a 12 inch desk piece to a 78 inch floor statue. The armored plating is carved deeply enough to cast genuine shadow, so the figure reads as sculpture rather than as a decorated block — and because it is cut from solid timber rather than cast, every piece carries its own grain across the armor.
Available Heights
- 12 in. and 14 in. — desk and shelf scale
- 23 in. and 31 in. — console, cabinet and sideboard scale
- 39 in. and 47 in. — floor-standing, alongside seating
- 54 in., 66 in. and 78 in. — full architectural scale for a hall, studio or gallery wall
How These Sculptures Are Made
Each piece begins as a precise 3D model, checked with orthographic alignment files so that proportion, symmetry and structural integrity are resolved before any material is cut. Five-axis CNC machining then carves the form, and hand-finishing and fine sanding bring up the detail and the surface. The sequence matters: the digital stage is what guarantees the anatomy and the armor symmetry are correct, and the hand stage is what stops the result looking machined.
Premium Solid Timber
Sculptures are cut from locally sourced solid hardwoods — walnut, chestnut, oak and sapelli among them — or from edge-glued premium panels at the largest scales. No plastics and no cheap composites are used. Because high-grade timber varies naturally, no two sculptures are identical; the grain transitions and subtle organic markings make each one a genuine one-off.
Commission Your Own Subject
This figure is one example of what the process can produce. Characters from film, gaming and comics, anime figures, abstract forms, family crests and corporate logos can all be carved — if you can supply a reference image or concept art, it can be modeled and cut. Any scale is possible, from a compact desk figurine to a life-size architectural installation.
How Ordering Works
- Send your concept — the subject you want, plus preferred wood and dimensions.
- 3D design and confirmation — the structure and proportions are reviewed so the concept translates correctly into carved wood, and shown to you before cutting.
- Production — CNC carving, hand sanding and an oil or varnish treatment.
- Delivery — packed for protection and shipped free to any U.S. state.
Is each sculpture unique?
Yes. Natural variation in high-grade timber means the grain on every piece is different, even between two sculptures of the same subject and size.
Can you carve a subject that is not shown here?
Yes. Send a reference image or concept art and it can be modeled, reviewed with you, and carved.
What is the largest size available?
The listed range reaches 78 inches. Larger architectural installations are possible and are quoted individually.

🧼 Care & Use Guide for Epoxy and Wood Products
- Especially for pnes with clear epoxy, protect from direct sunlight
- Avoid chemical cleaners. Use a slightly damp cloth for regular cleaning. For fingerprints or stains, you can use glass cleaner or vinegar water. If food spills, gently wipe the area. Leave oily spots if they don’t come off easily — the wood will absorb the oil, and it won’t be damaged.
- To preserve the wood’s color, shine, and durability, apply natural wood oils regularly (2-3 years). They nourish and protect the surface.
- Extreme heat and moisture can damage both wood and epoxy. Never place hot items like teapots or pans directly on the surface — always use a heat-resistant mat.
- When moving or assembling large, heavy pieces, take your time and ask for help to avoid damage.
